Privacy Policy

This is a student project. This policy describes what the site actually stores and why.

Account information

Sign-in is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication service. Clerk stores your login details (such as email and password or social login). We store your email, name, profile picture link, role and the profile fields you fill in (headline, skills, resume link, company name and website).

Activity on the site

• Jobs you save, applications you submit (cover letter and resume link) and keyword alerts you create.
• Notifications we send you inside the site.
• When you were last active, so staff can see inactive accounts.
• Messages you send through the contact form. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit spam, not the IP itself.

Who can see it

• When you apply to a job, the employer who posted it can see your name, email, headline, skills, cover letter and resume link.
• Moderators and admins can see account details to run the site. Their privileged actions are recorded in an audit log.
• We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising.

External links

Collected jobs link to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
